We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Golang to join our dynamic team! If you have a strong background in backend service development, event-driven architectures, databases (SQL & NoSQL), and team collaboration, we’d love to hear from you!
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Develop and maintain backend services using Golang with clean and efficient code
✅ Set up CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab/GitHub) with quality gates and artifact storage
✅ Write unit and integration tests within the Golang ecosystem
✅ Identify and resolve memory leaks and performance issues
✅ Manage application lifecycle in Kubernetes (init, traffic on, graceful shutdown)
✅ Adhere to Uber’s Golang code guidelines
🔹 Event-Driven Architecture:
✅ Design and implement event-based systems ensuring consistency and guarantees (at least once, at most once)
✅ Work with Kafka (topics, partitions, consumer groups, acknowledgments)
✅ Set up cross-cluster communications (async/sync routing)
✅ Choose the right message serialization format (Protobuf, JSON, etc.)
🔹 Database Expertise:
🔸 SQL Databases:
- Write SQL injection-free queries
- Design optimized tables, indexes, and queries
- Understand transactions, sharding, partitioning, and read replicas
🔸 NoSQL Databases:
- Select the right NoSQL model (key-value, document-oriented, etc.)
- Work with Redis, caching strategies, and cache invalidation
🔹 Team Collaboration:
✅ Proven experience working in cross-functional teams
✅ Create decision documents, system diagrams (C4, sequence, state-machine, etc.)
✅ Write self-documented code and maintain proper documentation
✅ Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and technical discussions
✅ Strong communication skills in English (both verbal & written)
✅ Ability to work in cross-cultural teams with adaptability
