Job PurposeThe Global Supply Manager leads sourcing strategy and supplier management for high-value, technically complex categories critical to VulcanForms’ production. This role requires strategic depth, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate independently across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
Key Accountabilities- Develop multi-year sourcing and cost roadmaps aligned with company growth plans.
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements, including pricing, capacity, and long-term supply terms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level supplier relationships.
- Mentor and support junior GSMs in project execution and negotiation strategy.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in sourcing or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated success managing strategic suppliers in a global manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with supplier development, qualification, and risk assessments.
- Understanding of cost structures for machined, cast, or fabricated components.
- Track record of delivering measurable cost savings and lead-time reduction.
- Prior exposure to startup or high-growth manufacturing environments.

In addition, VulcanForms provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; generous paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with company match.
The annual base salary range for this position is $113,000-$156,000.
