Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced, hands-on Senior Global Mobility Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of global mobility programs, including expatriate assignments, immigration, tax compliance, and relocation services. This role requires a deep understanding of international P&O practices and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. This role will report to the VP Global PMO & Total Rewards and is part of the extended Senior P&O Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the central point of contact and advisor on Global Mobility topics for executives, employees, Graduates and HR Business Partners,
- Plan, prepare, and implement expatriate assignments, including pre-assignment planning, on-assignment support, and repatriation.
- Coordinate immigration processes and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Oversee tax compliance for international assignments and liaise with external tax advisors.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on global mobility issues.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including relocation service providers and immigration consultants.
- Monitor and report on global mobility program metrics and ensure continuous improvement.
- Plan, prepare and execute payments to board of directors, including tax considerations for foreign board members.
- Support in Total Reward & PMO Projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in global mobility or international HR.
- Strong knowledge of immigration, tax, and employment laws in multiple countries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Goal-oriented working style with high organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical abilities, conceptual thinking, and quick comprehension.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Certification in Global Mobility (GMS) or similar is a plus.
