What Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a Senior Events Manager to lead the development, management, and execution of industry and major global events that elevate our brand, build pipeline, and engage our target audience in the cybersecurity, cloud, and data sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
What Will You Do?
- Develop and execute a third-party event strategy aligned with marketing and sales objectives, prioritizing Tier 1 global trade shows and high-value sponsorships.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend the most strategic events for awareness, engagement, and pipeline acceleration.
- Lead all aspects of event execution including booth design, logistics, sponsorship deliverables, vendor management, registration, and on-site coordination.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Brand, PR, AR, Sales, and Demand Gen to maximize event impact and drive consistent brand presence.
- Partner closely with the Sales and Partner teams to align event activations with account-based strategies and pipeline goals.
- Manage executive participation including speaking engagements, panels, and private customer events tied to major conferences.
- Define clear KPIs, track performance, and deliver actionable post-event recaps and recommendations.
- Own event budgets, ensuring efficient spend and strong return on investment.
What Skills and Knowledge Should You Bring?
- 7+ years of event management, preferably in cybersecurity, cloud, or data industries.
- Proven experience managing large-scale Tier 1 industry events such as RSA Conference, Black Hat, or similar conferences.
- Proven success executing large-scale industry events with measurable business impact.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills; adept at managing multiple events.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of B2B buyer journeys and events’ roles in lead generation and ABM.
- Proficient in event platforms (e.g., Cvent, Splash), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing tools (e.g., Marketo) and ABM platforms (Demandbase, 6Sense)
- Familiarity with virtual/hybrid event platforms and cybersecurity industry trends.
- Creative, adaptable, and detail-oriented, delivering outstanding attendee experiences.
- Passion for technology and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, event planning, or related field.
