The Senior Global Custody Registration Market Specialist is a member of the CAP Registration team in Service Delivery, which is the department that s responsible for managing the market investment approval and account opening processes for markets that require foreign investor registration and/or documentation requirements to open cash and securities accounts.

You will liaise with BBH client servicing groups and sub-custodian providers to process registration requests.  You will complete registration database updates and maintenance and updates to registration kits for assigned markets. The position requires an individual with great attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and client service skills.

Global Market Entry & Custody Onboarding

  • Own end-to-end foreign investor registration / market investment workflows, enabling clients to open required cash and securities accounts to begin investing.

  • Partner with BBH client servicing groups and sub-custodian providers to coordinate submissions, approvals, and market-specific documentation requirements.

  • Provides timely and accurate resolution of internal and client inquiries to ensure exceptional levels of client service are met. 

  • Develop expertise in assigned client structures and advise internal stakeholders on market entry readiness, documentation expectations, and timeline drivers.

  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen onboarding and registration processes through automation and process improvements.

Client Experience & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide clear, proactive status updates to internal stakeholders and external clients throughout the registration lifecycle.

  • Anticipate, investigate, and resolve issues that could delay approvals; escalate risks early to protect client experience and outcomes.

  • Support clients by completing registration documentation based on foundation materials and guiding clients through required steps and milestones.

  • Initiate and manage client requests ensuring accurate tracking and transparency throughout the process.

  • Utilize relevant internal technology solutions to effectively manage client inquiries

Required Skills:

  • BS/BA degree preferably in a business or finance related concentration and/or equivalent work experience           

  • 1-2 years of custody experience (closely related onboarding/client service experience in Custody/securities services preferred).

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurately under tight deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; confidence engaging on complex issues with internal partners and external clients.

  • High attention to detail, strong organization, and an ownership mindset.

  • Strong ability to apply analytical skills to data, workflows, numeric information and problem solving

  • Experience with emerging markets onboarding

   

Salary Range

MA: $60,000 - $75,000 base salary + annual target bonus
