We have an exciting opening in our Procurement function for a Senior Global Category Manager, Logistics. In this role, you’ll take ownership of our category strategy for global logistics services—shaping everything from transportation and distribution to warehousing and customs. This high-impact role puts you at the heart of our international operations, where you'll champion cost optimization, supplier excellence, and innovative, sustainable logistics solutions. This role reports into our Head of Indirect Procurement, and leads a team of 4 country-level category managers within our Flexible packaging segment.
Where you’ll beYou will be located at our Espoo HQ in Finland, 4 days per week in the office with 1 day working remotely, and should be within reasonable commuting distance from here.
What you'll be doingDefine and own global logistics category strategy and sourcing roadmap – Sea Freight, Warehousing , Road freight + 3PL.
Lead RFx processes, negotiations, and final supplier selection recommendations.
Approve contracting strategy, commercial terms, and risk‑mitigation frameworks.
Determine cost‑saving initiatives, competitive bidding, and consolidation opportunities.
Achievement of category cost targets (savings, avoidance, working capital improvements).
Supplier performance (OTIF, lead times, capacity reliability, digital capabilities).
Risk management across logistics lanes and suppliers.
7-12 years experience in global logistics procurement, transportation management (road, ocean, air, rail), warehousing & 3PL management and Supply chain operations.
Proven experience managing large, complex global suppliers.
Strong background in sourcing, contracting, procurement governance, and cost modelling.
Strong stakeholder management and project execution skills.
Strategic mindset, with ability to convert business needs into category solutions.
