ABOUT THE ROLE


We are seeking an experienced GL & Reporting Senior Specialist to join our finance team. The GL & Reporting Senior Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing various key financial functions, including Fixed Assets Management, Cash and Bank Management, and General Ledger Accounting & Reporting.

Job Description

Fixed Assets Management

  • Maintain and manage the fixed assets register, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and impairment.
  • Ensure accurate recording of asset acquisitions, transfers, and retirements in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.


Cash and Bank Management

  • Manage daily cash operations, including monitoring cash flow and performing bank reconciliations to ensure sufficient liquidity for company operations.
  • Accurately record all bank transactions in SAP and regularly reconcile bank accounts.


General Ledger Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records, ensuring all financial transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly end closing, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with local and international financial reporting standards.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Provide financial analysis and reports to management as required.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support budget preparation and forecasting processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting in the FMCG industry.
  • AP experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
