Your responsibilities
supporting in maintenance of balance sheet structures according to legal and company requirements (local GAAP);
maintaining the general ledger incl. execution of regular period-end closing postings;
recognition of provisions/accruals and preparing the statement of changes in provisions;
reconciliation of balance sheet accounts;
preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statistical reports incl. intrastat
fixed assets management;
supporting in managing process migrations.
Our requirements
about 2 years of experience in GL or about 3 years of experience in financial and/or accounting related areas (in SSC preferably);
communicative in English (German is not a must-have but it would be an advantage);
flexibility due to month closures;
constant drive to learn and improve skills.
Skills Required
- Minimum 2 years experience in General Ledger or ~3 years in financial/accounting roles (SSC preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with SAP ERP / S4HANA
- Experience with consolidation tools (e.g., Tagetik)
- Communicative English
- Flexibility for month closures
- Willingness to work from the office at least twice per month
- Strong analytical skills working with financial data
- Drive to learn and improve skills
