About the opportunity
We are looking for a skilled Senior Specialist GL Accountant to join our Finance team and support high‑quality, timely, and compliant financial reporting. In this role, you will take ownership of month‑end close activities, ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts, and contribute to continuous improvements within our processes and systems.
Your tasks
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities according to US GAAP / IFRS.
- Execute journal entries including accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue reclassifications, and adjustments.
- Review and reconcile GL accounts.
- Facilitate intercompany reconciliations.
- Manage fixed asset and real estate modules.
- Prepare cash reconciliations and statutory reports (e.g., VAT, WHT, Intrastat, GUS).
- Support internal and external audits and contribute to special projects.
- Degree in Accounting or a comparable qualification/experience.
- 3–6 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting, including production cost accounting.
- Hands-on experience in corporate-level financial reporting is a strong asset.
- Good command of English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- SAP experience (ECC and/or S/4HANA) is an advantage.
