Job Title: Senior GIS Technologist
Responsibilities:
- Gathering and analyzing geospatial requirements
- Produces and implements technical solution configuration and components
- Conducts technology evaluations
- Produces and implements geospatial data management strategies
- Implements aspects of the physical design
- Installs, configures and optimizes Enterprise GIS on prem, in AWS, and in Azure
- Administers and troubleshoots Enterprise GIS
- Oversees the translation of design into deliverables via implementation and deployment
Requirements
- Experience leading Esri Enterprise implementations
- Ability to define the physical implementation of the solution
- Strong expertise in Esri ArcSDE
- Expert-level knowledge of geospatial data, including imagery, spatial data management, design, and modeling
- Strong understanding of GIS best practices and principles
- Hands-on experience with Esri Enterprise installation, configuration, performance tuning, and administration
- Experience working in both on-premises and cloud environments
- Strong experience with the Esri ArcGIS suite, including:
- ArcGIS Desktop
- ArcGIS Pro
- ArcSDE
- ArcGIS Server
- ArcGIS Online
- Velocity
- Portal for ArcGIS
- Experience Builder
- ArcGIS Desktop
- Strong skills in Python
- Experience with FME Form and FME Flow
- Skills with generative AI for Python acceleration
§ Strongly Desired Experience:
o Practical
experience in Agile project delivery methodology including the Scrum process
framework with sprint-based project cycles
o Domain knowledge of GIS in Oil & Gas, Utility, Renewables, Engineering or Public Sector organizations
