With strong support from senior leaders and visibility across the business, the team is well placed to develop, test, and scale new solutions. Your work will be visible, valued, and connected to key priorities from day one.

The role and mission:

This is an opportunity to build, test, and scale AI solutions that can make a real difference. You’ll work on meaningful initiatives, turning new ideas into practical applications that address real business and client needs. • Work closely with colleagues across our Dublin and international Innovation teams, while also having scope to take initiative and contribute your own ideas

  • Work in an Agile environment where you can contribute ideas, experiment, learn quickly, and see the impact of your work

  • Stay hands-on with the latest AI tools, models, and techniques, with ongoing opportunities to learn, test, and evolve continuously

  • Help shape and strengthen how we build AI, including best practices in prompt engineering, experimentation, evaluation, and solution design

  • Create reusable approaches, tools, and patterns that help the wider team work more effectively and consistently

  • Share knowledge, support technical excellence, and help grow capability across a growing team

Why you'll love it:

This is a chance to play a meaningful role in a senior position, with the opportunity to shape projects and contribute to how AI solutions are built. You’ll work on important challenges, explore the latest technologies, and help develop best practices in a team that is growing quickly and working with purpose. With strong leadership support, visibility across the business, and access to the resources of a global organization, you’ll have the platform to make a genuine impact while continuing to grow your career. And you’ll do it from Dublin, one of Europe’s most dynamic and well-connected tech hubs.

What you will need to have:

  • Strong software engineering experience, with the depth and judgment expected in a senior-level role
  • Experience building and delivering production-grade applications
  • Deep hands-on experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript development, including frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
  • Solid backend experience with Node.js, NestJS, or similar technologies
  • Experience using Python to build AI-powered workflows, integrations, or applications
  • Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and integrating AI into real-world products and business processes
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs, including prompt design, tool use, structured outputs, and application orchestration
  • Experience with RAG, retrieval pipelines, embeddings, and knowledge-grounded AI systems
  • Familiarity with modern agent patterns, multi-step workflows, and tool-connected AI systems
  • Good understanding of AWS, Kubernetes, and the infrastructure required to deploy and scale AI applications
  • Experience with monitoring and observability for production AI applications, with an understanding of how to track performance, reliability, and system health
  • Strong communication skills, a practical and thoughtful approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively across engineering and business teams

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience taking AI products from early experimentation through to production use

  • Familiarity with emerging standards and frameworks in the agent ecosystem, including Model Context Protocol (MCP)

  • Knowledge of vector databases, semantic search, and scalable retrieval architectures

  • Experience improving the quality, reliability, latency, and cost-efficiency of AI systems

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.

  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can collaborate with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.

  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities.

Note this role is based in the MMC Innovation Centre in Dublin, and the successful candidate is expected to be in the office 3 days per week.

Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other less represented groups tend to only apply when they check every box. So, if you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point on what is needed, please still get in touch.
