Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

To be successful as a Senior FX UI React Developer, you should have:

  • Extensive proficiency in React and strict TypeScript programming, including custom hooks, advanced component patterns, performance optimisation, error boundaries, and context architecture.
  • Experience with TanStack React Query and Apollo Client (GraphQL) for server state management
  • Considerable knowledge of Design Patterns, Testing practices (Vitest and React Testing Library), and Code Quality principles
  • Experience with Playwright for component and E2E testing, including test architecture, fixture design, and API mocking strategies
  • Ability to independently drive architectural decisions, lead large-scale refactorings, and establish patterns across a shared codebase

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Experience with Vite, pnpm monorepos, and micro-frontend architecture
  • Experience with AG Grid, React Hook Form, and Zod schema validation
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes)
  • UX sensibility - ability to make pragmatic UI and accessibility decisions
  • Scripting and automation skills (CI workflows, tooling, code generation)

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role will be based in our Prague office.

Entry Salary: Kč1,884,000.00

Upper Salary: Kč 2,301,000.00

The entry and upper salary information above includes only annual full-time equivalent base salary and represents the typical range of pay for the role. The actual pay rate will reflect the responsibility level of the role and experience level of the individual. The entry and upper salary information does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
