Role Description
Deutsche Bank’s Wealth Management Technology division is currently working on an initiative to build a core team of internal resources in Pune with expertise on various technologies and applications.
- Technical Analyst is required to work as part of Deutsche Bank’s Wealth Management Technology team
- Hands on expertise on Oracle PL/SQL, Unix, Control-M
- Able to perform analysis, coding, unit testing, debugging of stored procedures, functions, triggers and adhoc queries using SQL to support business, functional and technical requirements while leveraging efficiency opportunities and driving reusability.
- Responsible for overall application L3 support including interfaces with other applications/systems.
- Follows application development that is consistent with industry best practices application attributes (including scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility).

Your key responsibilities
- Responsibility includes analysis, debugging, development and testing of stored procedures, functions, triggers, and ad hoc queries using SQL
- Ability to perform Database Performance tuning
- Ability to lead a technical team of mid to junior level developers.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for production issues.
- Ability to provide Test cases, Test Evaluation Report etc.
- Ability to provide Release notes, SQL Scripts(implementation/rollback).
- Ability to analyze requirements and prepare high/low level design.
- Ability to work with multi-region teams with good communication.
Your skills and experience
- Around 8-10 years of IT experience in Database design and development.
- Strong experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, and adhoc queries using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Strong Experience with performance tuning.
- Strong Experience with Database and Dataware house design.
- Experience with ETL tool (Informatica or Ab Initio) is preferred.
- Experience with data modeling tool like Power Designer is preferred.
- Intermediate level exposure on python.
- Financial/Banking domain knowledge /Wealth Management is a plus.
- Exposure on cloud technology like GCP.
Education/ Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Engineering with 8-10 years of experience or Graduate degree in Engineering/ Management with ~10 years of experience in Database development

Skills Required
- Demonstrated experience as a Techno‑Functional Analyst within IT or enterprise data platform environments.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing principles, data modelling, and large‑scale integration patterns.
- Hands‑on proficiency in SQL, with working knowledge of PL/SQL.
- Technical expertise across programming and data processing stacks, including PL/SQL, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Composer, Airflow, Dataproc/PySpark, and query tuning/optimisation.
- Experience working with cloud‑based data platforms such as Google BigQuery or equivalent cloud database technologies.
- Good knowledge of banking products, processes, and functional flows within the Wealth Management domain.
- Familiarity with client and account reference data models, as well as transactional data structures.
- Experience with core banking platforms such as Avaloq or comparable systems.
- Ability to produce detailed techno‑functional documentation, including requirements, data mapping specifications, and transformation logic.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
