- Functional Ownership
- Serving as the subject matter expert for Workday Absence, Compensation, Talent Management, and Security modules, ensuring optimal configuration and alignment with business objectives.
- Translating evolving business requirements, compliance standards, and policy updates into clear and actionable functional specifications for HRIT and Technology partners.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensuring Workday processes and configurations comply with internal policies, compensation governance standards, and relevant labor and data protection regulations across all jurisdictions.
- Maintaining accurate documentation for configurations, security roles, and process flows, supporting internal controls and audit readiness.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Leading functional testing for enhancements, releases, and configuration changes across Absence, Compensation, Talent, and Security, validating data integrity and end-to-end functionality.
- Collaborating with Technology and cross-functional teams to execute integration testing, manage release readiness, and ensure seamless deployment of new features.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Building and sustaining strong partnerships with People & Culture, Compensation, Talent and Technology stakeholders to ensure Workday solutions meet strategic business needs.
- Collaborating with external vendors and Workday community forums to stay informed of best practices, product updates, and emerging functionality.

Are you our next Senior Functional Analyst, Workday?
- You have 5+ years in Workday functional roles, with hands-on configuration and support in one or more of the following areas: Absence, Compensation, Talent Management, and Security.Hands-on experience with Workday Absence & Time Off
- You have experience in retail, hospitality, or other multi-jurisdiction, frontline-heavy industries.
- You have proven experience translating business requirements into functional specifications and partnering with HRIS and Technology teams to deliver effective Workday solutions.
- You have demonstrated ability to lead testing efforts for Workday releases, enhancements, and integrations including test planning, execution, and validation.
- You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- You have a proactive, systems-thinking approach to policy and process.
- You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with HR, Payroll, IT, and external partners.
- You have an appreciation for operational nuance and regional variation.
- You have comfort working across ambiguity and collaborating cross-functionally in fast-paced, scaling environments.
