What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain fullstack web applications powering Portfolio activities
- Implement intuitive user interfaces for internal scientific users (Vue.js or React)
- Build and maintain backend services in Python (FastAPI) with strong attention to performance and securityWork on the underlying PostgreSQL database, ensuring data integrity and optimized query performancCollaborate with chemoinformaticians and scientists to turn business needs into product features
- Ensure software quality, scalability, and testability through best practices (CI/CD, code reviews, testing)
- Contribute to improving our engineering culture, tools, and internal frameworks
- Participate actively in agile rituals and iterative product delivery
What we’re looking for
- 6+ years of experience in fullstack software development
- Strong skills in Python (FastAPI or equivalent), SQL, and modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js or React)
- Experience with API design, frontend/backend integration, and user-centric design
- Good understanding of software architecture, security, testing, and deployment workflows
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, able to interact with non-technical users and turn their needs into working productsTeam player with the ability to work autonomously while staying aligned with team objectives
