Own end-to-end scientific data pipelines from ingestion through trusted, model-ready datasets. Model compounds, structures, assays, predictions, and experimental results while ensuring data quality, lineage, governance, and observability. Partner with ML engineers, data scientists, and researchers to build scalable solutions, shape data architecture, develop self-service and API capabilities, and mentor junior engineers.

Operate and evolve AQEMIA’s AWS cloud platform using infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, and GitOps. Own observability, incident response, security, cost management, CI/CD, internal tooling, and platform reliability. Plan GPU capacity for scientific workloads, improve developer experience, and contribute to architecture and long-term platform strategy.

Lead biology strategy across early-stage small-molecule drug discovery programs, including target identification and validation, screening cascade design, compound evaluation, and progression toward proof of concept. Partner with multidisciplinary chemistry, modeling, platform, and program teams; manage external CROs; guide experimental strategy; and support data-driven portfolio prioritization, particularly in oncology and immuno-oncology.

Lead AQEMIA’s ML research organization of approximately 15 scientists and researchers. Own the predictive modeling roadmap, guide frontier architectures, scale production-ready high-throughput workflows, and ensure scientific rigor, robustness, and measurable platform impact. Collaborate with chemistry, biology, physics, engineering, and leadership teams to advance AI-powered drug discovery.

Partner with managers across France and the UK to own people operations across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, contracts, payroll coordination, compliance (GDPR, employment law), HR systems, automation and people analytics. Improve and scale workflows, advise on employee relations and performance matters, maintain audit-ready records, and drive HR reporting, AI-powered automation, and a consistent employee experience.

Lead a 5-person Compute Engineering team to build and operate the compute platform for scientific simulations and ML workloads. Own roadmap delivery, platform scalability, reliability, CI/CD and IaC, and cross-functional coordination with Product, AI and Science teams. Hire, mentor, and grow engineers while driving operational excellence and modern engineering practices.
