You specialize in designing and maintaining workflow-driven B2B solutions that bring our unique vertical EdTech SaaS experience to Japan. Responsibilities:
- Develop UI, UX and the backend services to manage master data and content for the Learning Management system.
- Review, maintain, and optimize the existing User Management and Content Management systems.
- The core responsibility of a UX-driven full-stack engineer is to deliver an exceptional, cohesive, and intuitive integration experience for all users, internal and external, across the entire technical stack. This is achieved by owning the UX lifecycle.
- Take ownership of the full DevOps cycle: requirement analysis, development, deployment, monitoring, issue handling, and continuous optimization.
- Analyze requirements and design solutions with a user-first mindset.
- Ensure the quality and compatibility of the new features.
- Monitor and maintain the system. Get the feedback and also proactively detect the limitation, then optimize.
- Implement custom Google Apps Scripts functions and automation to extend Google Sheets' capabilities, specifically for processing complex data inputs like uploading and rendering image URLs and LaTeX equations within a cell.
- Research and integrate third-party open-source software solutions to efficiently and massively scale content creation and management workflows.
- Integrate with partner Learning Management systems and third-party content providers.
Requirements:
- Senior-level preferred: 4+ years of experience, strong product mindset, and close collaboration with PMs.
- Possess a strong, comprehensive foundation in full-stack software development, encompassing the entire technology stack from Frontend to Backend, along with all critical related integrations such as databases and external APIs.
- Design and develop UX for complex data management: Utilize advanced interface techniques (like dynamic tables and split views) to enable the simultaneous, efficient creation, review, and management of mass content and metadata from a single, cohesive screen.
- Strong debugging and monitoring skills.
- Familiar with React (Typescript) and Golang.
- Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, ownership mindset - able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Learn fast, highly adapt to new tools and technology.
- Can communicate in English.
