Senior Fullstack Engineer

As a SeniorFull Stack Engineer on the Trading team, you will play a key role in developing Ridgeline’s next-generation trading platform. You will take ownership of critical features, drive technical decisions, and contribute to a high-performing system that investment managers rely on daily. We are looking for individuals who thrive in an environment that values autonomy, accountability, and rapid iteration. You will work with modern front-end frameworks, AWS back-end services, and cutting-edge AI tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to push the boundaries of what’s possible in fintech.

• Take full ownership of designing, building, and optimizing core features for Ridgeline’s trading platform
• Develop and maintain real-time pricing and trading systems that ensure speed, accuracy, and reliability
• Work across the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture to implementation and deployment
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product teams to drive innovation and solve complex technical challenges
• Shape a developing tech stack that leverages modern front-end frameworks and cost-efficient AWS back-end services
• Lead the creation of developer automation tools to ensure scalability, security, and high-quality code
• Mentor and inspire product engineers to build high-performing, enterprise-grade applications
• Actively contribute to a culture that embraces speed, autonomy, and a start-up mindset while maintaining technical excellence

• 4+ years of experience in full-stack engineering
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-moving, start-up environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability
• Expertise in modern front-end frameworks such as React
• Strong back-end development skills using AWS services, Kotlin, Python, or Java
• Expertise in SQL databases and data modeling, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, real-time systems in cloud environments
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and scalable architecture best practices
• Passion for mentorship and fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

• Experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub, Redis, or other event-driven and real-time data architectures
• Background in financial technology, trading platforms, or investment management systems
