What You'll Do:
- Build and evolve Groove, a fullstack platform that supports planning, collaboration, and execution across Spotify.
- Design and deliver features including initiative tracking, planning workflows, and dependency management.
- Work across the stack using React, TypeScript, Java, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to build end-to-end solutions.
- Partner closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and create intuitive, effective experiences.
- Ensure reliability through testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and help respond to production incidents when needed.
- Improve the performance, scalability, and maintainability of frontend and backend systems.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining ownership of quality, correctness, and outcomes.
- Lead the design and delivery of complex, high-impact features across the stack.
- Own problems end-to-end, from shaping ambiguous requirements through to production-ready solutions.
- Help define and evolve architecture across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to raising the technical bar across the team.

- You have experience designing systems and influencing technical direction.
- You communicate clearly and effectively through documentation and collaboration in distributed teams.
- You write clean, maintainable code that enables others to build with confidence.
- You use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully and validate outputs with sound engineering judgment.
- You navigate ambiguity with confidence and make thoughtful trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.

Where You'll Be:
- This role is based in London or Stockholm.
