Role
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our team. This is a Hybrid (Specify office presence requirements: Ramat Gan) role, reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering in the Exposure Management & Security Operations department. Avalor, now part of Zscaler, powers the data foundation behind Zscaler's Security Operations platform, ingesting, unifying, and contextualizing data from hundreds of security and business tools to power security modules that deliver actionable insights. In this role, you'll be a core contributor to a high-scale platform that powers multiple Zscaler products and serves enterprise customers worldwide, owning features end-to-end across UI, backend services, and data processes with real autonomy and direct impact.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Architecting and developing end-to-end features across a high-scale data platform and customizable ETL and data operations infrastructure - from data ingestion and transformation pipelines to the UI surfaces that expose them
- Building high-quality, scalable backend services within a microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot, and modern, intuitive user interfaces using React & TypeScript
- Leading and designing solutions from scratch to production; creating technical designs, participating in architectural reviews and taking ownership of the development process through deployment and monitoring of performance and cost in production
- Collaborating closely with other team members - product managers, engineers and UX designers to translate complex requirements into clean, well-scoped technical solutions
- Continuously evaluating emerging technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices to drive meaningful improvements to our data platform and development workflows

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
- Experience developing and shipping complex SaaS solutions in production environments with enterprise customers
- 3+ years of hand-on Fullstack experience using React and Java/Spring Boot (or equivalent backend language and framework) while collaborating with product managers and UX/UI designers
- Experience with microservice architecture - Docker, Kubernetes and cloud environments
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end tasks autonomously while demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience designing and building fullstack interfaces or backend pipelines that integrate GenAI capabilities, large language model (LLM) workflows, or AI-driven security analytics tools
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data-intensive systems, using SQL databases or data warehouses
- Proficiency in high scale, multi-tenant cloud architecture (queues, locks, scheduling, workload distribution, ETL workflows) and holding a B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field
