Senior Fullstack Engineer
London Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home
We are seeking a senior full-stack engineer to play a crucial part in our newly formed and rapidly expanding Growth team. In this role, you will be using the latest technology, including AI, to build products and tools that drive growth in the business, including our flagship, next-generation CRM developed completely in-house.
We’re looking for the right attitude, work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit to ask the hard questions. To be informed by data, but be led by a desire to solve our customers' problems. You should learn by default and be ever curious. You should be programming language, framework, and tool agnostic but have strong opinions (weakly held) on the right tool to solve our biggest problems.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of complex features for customer-facing web applications.
- Drive frontend development using React/VueJS and backend development using Python.
- Collaborate with data engineers to design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines for analytics and ML.
- Own the full lifecycle of the products you build, including development, maintenance, monitoring, and alerting.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion technical excellence and best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand needs and deliver impactful solutions.
- Contribute to our technical roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Quality is important to us; we expect your code to be testable with good test coverage.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and practices.
- The position may require being on-call at times.
About you:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in FinTech, banking, or another closely related sector, with a strong understanding of financial systems and building within a regulated environment.
- 5+ years in full stack development, building high-performance web applications, with significant experience in modern frontend frameworks (React/VueJS) and microservices architectures.
- Proficiency in Python3, REST APIs, React, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of architecture, design patterns, and building scalable, testable code (unit & integration tests).
- Comfort with containerization, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure.
- Used to working in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-starter who can autonomously drive complex projections to fruition.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Machine Learning or Data Science projects (e.g. LLMs).
- Working knowledge of Terraform
- Experience with event-driven architectures and event sourcing
