What this job involves:
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at JLL, you'll be at the forefront of shaping a brighter way for our clients and fellow employees through innovative technology solutions. You'll work on cutting-edge projects that drive our digital transformation, collaborating with cross-functional teams both locally and across the globe. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain complex software applications that power JLL's core business operations. We believe in empowering our team members to thrive, so you'll have the autonomy to propose and implement new ideas while contributing to our culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Architect, design, and implement scalable, high-performance full-stack applications
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver robust software solutions
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior team members
- Optimize application performance and ensure code quality through best practices and testing
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Experience with back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, or Spring)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with microservices architecture and API design
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with real estate or proptech industry
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Experience with data analytics and machine learning
- Agile/Scrum certification
