As a Senior Software Engineer at dot.cards, your primary responsibility will be to develop, test, and refine new products and features that will influence the future direction of dot. Your main objective will be to enhance the dot.Profile client side web app, dot.Teams Enterprise Platform, a mobile app, along with developing and maintain scalable backend infrastructure. Our tech stack: React.JS, Typescript, Next.JS, React Native, and hosted on GCP.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with our product design team to build animated, functional, and scalable user interfaces, focusing on enhancing the user experience.
- Make informed backend infrastructure choices to improve scalability and performance, ensuring the robustness and reliability of our systems.
- Develop, test, and refine new products and features, contributing significantly to the future trajectory of dot.cards.
- Maintain and enhance our existing codebase, ensuring high-quality coding standards and incorporating best practices.
- Start new products from scratch, plan new features, and help make crucial architectural decisions.
- Work closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers in a fast-paced environment, embodying a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
- A minimum of 5 years professional experience in software development.
- A minimum 3 years professional experience in backend development.
- Expertise in our tech stack: TypeScript, Next.JS, React Native, Node.JS, and familiarity with GCP.
- Ability to develop high-quality, scalable user interfaces and backend systems.
- Solid understanding of web development fundamentals and best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a track record of successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-level SaaS solutions.
- Prior experience with animated UI development.
- Familiarity with modern infrastructure management and development tools.
- Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
- Experience quantifying user behavior with Mixpanel or other data visualization tools.
- Advanced data analytics skills to support development work.
- Experience working with both consumer mobile products and enterprise solutions.
