We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the SmartSense R&D team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, and evolution of SmartSense, Ascom's intelligent monitoring platform for healthcare and long-term care environments.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience building scalable frontend and backend solutions, a strong understanding of modern software architecture, and the ability to drive technical improvements across the full technology stack.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SmartSense frontend and backend services.
Contribute to the evolution of SmartSense towards a scalable microservices and high-availability architecture.
Develop modern React-based user interfaces and REST APIs.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration practices.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
Drive continuous improvements in performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
