Position Summary:
CVS Health is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions that support critical digital platforms. In this role, you will contribute across both front-end and back-end technologies, developing modern applications using Java, Node.js, Angular, and React. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and customer-focused solutions.
The ideal candidate is a strong technical contributor who can design and implement scalable applications, drive technical excellence, and mentor engineers across teams. We value engineers who are adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality software while continuously improving system performance, reliability, and developer workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience developing applications using Java and/or Node.js
- 3+ years of experience with modern front-end frameworks including Angular and/or React
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building scalable web applications and microservices
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-native application development
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practices
- Knowledge of software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

The typical pay range for this role is:
$101,970.00 - $203,940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
