We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in Java and JavaScript for backend and frontend development, specializing in Okta support. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Identity Access Management and customer support, with Okta certification.
What You'll DoProvide end-to-end technical support for Okta, including initial troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
Support Identity Access Management systems, including LDAP, SSO, SAML, and WS-Fed protocols.
Develop and maintain backend services using Java and frontend applications using JavaScript frameworks.
Write code/scripts to build user scenarios leveraging Okta APIs and SDKs to reproduce and resolve issues.
Collect information and document bugs for Engineering teams related to API and product issues.
Deliver high-quality customer support via written communication, live chat, conference calls, and in-person interactions.
Meet or exceed customer expectations for response quality, timeliness, and overall experience.
Provide feedback to training and documentation teams to address common or emerging issues proactively.
Push creative thinking to improve processes beyond industry standards.
Deliver against customer experience and efficiency targets.
Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Remain calm, composed, and articulate in challenging customer situations.
Support 24/7 operations in a 3-shift environment.
8+ years of experience in Okta Support Space.
3+ years in customer and technical support roles.
Strong experience with Identity Access Management.
Experience supporting LDAP, SSO, SAML, or WS-Fed.
Proficiency in Java (backend) and JavaScript (frontend).
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to support 24/7 operations.
Experience with Okta API and SDKs.
Familiarity with bug tracking and documentation tools.
Process improvement mindset.
