Here's a closer look at this key role:
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Cytracom, you will tackle significant engineering challenges, such as building complex components and enhancing system scalability and reliability. You will mentor fellow engineers, advocate for software quality and security, and collaborate with various teams to drive our ambitious product roadmap forward across all Cytracom products.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack software solutions using Django and React.
- Design and implement solutions using relational and non-relational databases and tools (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering growth and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy applications and APIs.
- Ensure software functionality aligns with industry-standard security practices and quality standards.
- Define test scenarios, and conduct unit and integration tests to verify software functionality.
- Manage and prioritize tasks using JIRA, providing regular status updates and tracking efforts.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with team members and stakeholders.
- Provide timely triage and escalation handling for issues, prioritizing critical matters.
- Exhibit passion for learning, solution consulting, and a willingness to embrace new technologies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience developing full-stack web applications professionally.
- Strong object-oriented design and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in React and Django, with at least 2 years of hands-on development experience.
- Proven ability to deliver efficient, reliable, and maintainable software.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience mentoring and guiding junior developers.
- Ability to respond well to coaching and constructive criticism.
