Ciklum is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team full-time in Slovakia.
We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.
About the role:
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will work on full-stack features within an established codebase used daily by production staff. Specific features are prioritized as the roadmap evolves, in close collaboration with existing engineers and business users.
The application is the primary tool used for planning, executing, and approving process optimizations in high-precision moulding production. Built as a React SPA backed by an ASP.NET Core BFF and SAP integrations, its decisions govern mass production parameters—meaning correctness, traceability, and auditability take priority over delivery speed.
Our team operates on high trust and delegation. Instead of handing out narrowly specified tasks, we delegate problem ownership.
This requires:
- Strong Collaboration: Actively involving others, sharing knowledge proactively, keeping progress visible, and speaking up early when blocked.
- Senior Independence: Driving solutions forward without waiting for step-by-step instructions and making sound day-to-day decisions.
- Requirements & Workflow Features are shaped by a product trio (PM, UX, Lead Engineer) and typically arrive as draft Gherkin scenarios with open questions. You will proactively work out remaining details directly with business users and our lead engineer rather than waiting for every ambiguity to be removed upfront.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and configure end-to-end features through close collaboration with other product team members and with business stakeholders
- Work productively across both the server side (.NET / C#) and the front end (React / TypeScript). This is a full-stack assignment, not a split role
- Work from requirements shaped by the product trio, and clarify the remaining details directly with business users in collaboration with our lead engineer — asking the right questions, capturing the answers as executable specifications, and flagging conflicts early
- Engineer products to the highest standards of security and data privacy by implementing and following client security and data privacy principles from ideation to production release and beyond
- Engineer products that implement business logic using modern design patterns and architectural principles, and that respect the existing architecture decisions of the codebase
- Write modular code that is easy to test, deploy and maintain, and that follows the established conventions of the repository rather than introducing parallel patterns
- Ensure robustness and reliability through unit, integration and scenario-level tests, working with us in the BDD flow we are building up
- Preserve traceability and auditability in a domain where records support decisions about physical production
- Build efficient and optimal solutions by challenging ideas and opinions
Requirements:
We value true ownership, adaptability, and pragmatic problem-solving over matching every technical buzzword.
- Senior Ownership: Takes delegated ownership and completes tasks independently. Makes sound decisions, surfaces blockers early, and keeps the team informed
- Full-Stack Expertise: Strong experience with modern C# / ASP.NET Core (.NET 10), React, and TypeScript. This is a true full-stack role
- Automated Testing: Writes unit and integration tests alongside code as a standard part of delivery
- Adaptable Generalist: Comfortable working outside C#; willing to learn specific manufacturing domain vocabulary
- Communication: Confident discussing workflows with non-technical business users
- Team Mindset: Curious, continuously learns, shares knowledge, and prioritizes quality over quantity
Desirable:
- TDD / BDD: Practice with Gherkin/CI to help guide our growing adoption
- MongoDB: Understanding document databases, schema evolution, and migrations
- GraphQL: Experience with HotChocolate and Apollo Client
- Domain & Infra: Manufacturing/QA background. Familiarity with AWS (CDK, ECS Fargate), GitHub Actions, Storybook, or Sentry/Serilog
- Mentorship: Passion to teach others
What’s in it for you?
- Strong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door culture that values initiative and empowers its people to succeed
- Fast-paced & agile environment: Be part of a dynamic, fast-moving organization that champions efficiency and innovation
- Global exposure: Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams and contribute to large-scale initiatives
- Tailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications
- Flexibility: Balance office and remote work to fit your rhythm
- Care: Take advantage of our extensive benefits offering, aligned with the best market standards
The salary starts from 3500 Euro gross. The final salary depends on the previous experience and professional knowledge of the candidate.
