Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using modern backend and frontend technologies, delivering reliable, high-performance solutions at enterprise scale
- Implement and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services with attention to security, scalability, and maintainability, following team standards and reference architectures
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using contemporary frontend frameworks, translating designs into working pages/prototypes and iterating based on feedback
- Participate across the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and production support
- Operate as a hands-on engineer who delivers independently on tasks, escalating early and seeking input for ambiguous or novel problems
- Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis for defects, and implement durable fixes
- Support application availability and reliability for business-critical systems by contributing to operational readiness, on-call/incident activities as assigned, and follow-up fixes or automation
- Collaborate with product management, architecture, QA, and platform teams to translate business requirements and roadmaps into technical solutions
- Contribute to technical documentation (design notes, implementation details, and runbooks) to support maintainability and smooth handoffs within the team
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities within existing systems and propose practical, scalable enhancements
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for AI/ML integration
- Adhere to Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) practices, engineering governance, and enterprise service management processes
- Stay current with evolving technologies and engineering practices and apply them thoughtfully to healthcare and pharmacy use cases
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience with software engineering and full stack development life cycle
- 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting Spring Boot-based APIs and backend services
- 4+ years hands-on experience with React to build modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces
- 2+ years of experience with one of the cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP). Having Azure cloud experience is preferred
- Experience with Python in service development, automation, or data-driven applications
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and modern AI technologies (e.g., GitHub Copilot, generative AI tools, integration of AI/ML capabilities into applications
- Solid proficiency in Java, with demonstrated experience building secure, scalable, and maintainable applications
