Position Overview
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong backend expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, along with frontend development experience in React. The engineer will be responsible for designing, building, scaling, and supporting high-quality, customer-facing applications in a cloud-native AWS environment.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer-facing and production issues across frontend and backend systems
Proactively identify and address issues related to application performance, stability, scalability, security, and extensibility
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
Develop responsive, reusable, and maintainable frontend applications using React
Design and implement efficient data models and access patterns using Amazon DynamoDB
Build cloud-native and event-driven applications using AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch
Develop asynchronous processing workflows and integrations using queues and serverless services
Define application architecture and relationships between services, components, and subsystems
Actively participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews
Ensure that new code, features, and software products meet defined performance, security, reliability, and quality standards
Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for frontend and backend components
Maintain high availability and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer trust and production reliability
Monitor production applications using logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerts
Support CI/CD pipelines and improve automated build, testing, and deployment processes
Collaborate with product managers, designers, quality engineers, and globally distributed engineering teams
Work in an Agile environment following Scrum methodologies
Take ownership of features throughout the complete software development lifecycle, from technical design through production support
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of strong programming experience in full stack development and cloud technologies
At least 6-8 years of relevant hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript
Strong problem-solving skills with solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Good understanding of commonly used software design patterns and architectural principles
Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservice-based applications
Hands-on experience building frontend applications using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience designing DynamoDB tables, partition keys, sort keys, secondary indexes, and application access patterns
Experience developing applications using AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch
Experience building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native applications
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright
Experience with CI/CD and containerization tools such as Docker and Jenkins
Experience using Git-based source-control and development workflows
Good understanding of application monitoring, debugging, and production-support practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills
