About this role
We are looking for a senior backend leaning full stack engineer to join our growing team. You should be passionate about solving problems for our end users and approach it in an elegant way. This opportunity will allow you to collaborate with our designers, user advocates, and other engineers to build the future of our product. You will contribute to the design of our systems, help build our engineering culture, and mentor other engineers.
You could be a great fit if
- You have 5+ years of engineering experience
- You have deep expertise with Django, Django Rest Framework, and the Django ORM
- You are comfortable working with React (Next.js/Typescript)
- You have strong relational database knowledge, with PostgreSQL experience being a plus
- You have seen and are able to implement engineering best practices
- You are user-centric, empathetic, and passionate about your work
- You excel at evaluating and making thoughtful trade-offs between engineering complexity and timely delivery
- You approach problems with initiative, working independently to find solutions, and collaborate effectively to offer or seek support when needed
Bonus
- Experience with Chrome Extensions
- Startup experience (not required, but we build and move fast!)

Compensation
$140,000 - $250,000 base + equity ( San Francisco)
