You will
- Engage with the feature design process, refining requirements in partnership with the product team and document designs with mock-ups and solution design descriptions.
- Build and maintain intuitive, user-friendly interfaces, ensuring a high-quality UX/UI that aligns with design standards, and ensures compatibility across devices and browsers.
- Develop scalable and secure backend services, exposing functionality through API standards such as GraphQL
- Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high code quality and reliability.
- Enhance deployment pipelines ensuring the smooth operation of applications in production environments using AWS.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and product managers across geographies.
What we're looking for
- Strong experience in full-stack web app development using common frameworks (e.g. React and Node.js) and languages (Typescript, Javascript, CSS, HTML5)
- Confident in designing and developing APIs (GraphQL, REST) along with experience delivering code into production using web services platforms (e.g. AWS).
- Passion for a focused, agile way of working and, ideally, exposure to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Strong analytical skills to debug and resolve issues efficiently with excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling cross-team collaboration.
- Additional experience with NoSQL databases; web application testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Mocha) and Linux (Centos/Ubuntu) administration are highly desired
- A strong sense of good UX design
