Techno-Functional Consultant – Oracle Transportation and Global Trade Management (OTM-GTM)
Position Summary
We are seeking an OTMGTM Techno-Functional Consultant with product knowledge to support implementation, enhancement, integration, and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical expertise and transportation/logistics business process knowledge to deliver scalable OTMGTM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain OTM customizations and extensions.
Configure and support OTM agents, automation agents, workflows, custom reports and business rules.
Basic understanding of GTM configurations, product classification and compliance screening
Create and support inbound and outbound interfaces between OTM GTM and ERP/WMS systems.
Develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics.
Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
Support OTM upgrades, patches, and environment migrations.
Participate in system performance tuning and optimization activities.
Functional Responsibilities
Gather and analyze transportation and logistics business requirements.
Configure OTM business processes including:
Order Management
Shipment Planning
Rate Management
Tendering
Freight Settlement
Tracking and Visibility
Work with business users to design transportation solutions.
Conduct functional testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
Provide user training and documentation.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
2–5 years of experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
Strong knowledge of:
OTM architecture
OTM agents and automation agents
Integration Manager
XML Profiles
Saved Queries
Rate contracts management
Experience with:
XML/XSLT
REST and SOAP APIs
SQL and Oracle Database
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud and SaaS integrations.
Functional Skills
Strong understanding of transportation and supply chain processes.
Experience in:
Transportation Planning
Carrier Operations
Freight Payment
Logistics Execution
Rate and Contract Management
Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with OTM Cloud implementations.
Knowledge of related Oracle products such as OIC/WMS/ERP.
Experience in end-to-end implementation projects.
Oracle certifications in OTM or Supply Chain applications are preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
