The Senior Full Stack Developer – Java & Big Data will work in a global environment, share experience and drive architecture changes to new microservices application solutions. You will have a chance to drive global reference data solutions used by many Citi clients.
Technical Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Implement real-time streaming solutions with Kafka and manage large datasets efficiently.
• Design and deploy applications in Kubernetes for container orchestration and scalability.
• Ensure application resiliency and high availability with best practices.
• Implement observability solutions using Grafana for monitoring and alerting setup.
• Build and optimize high-performance, scalable applications handling large volumes of data.
• Work with Apache Spark for big data processing (a strong plus).
• Leverage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
Soft Skills & Leadership:
• Act as a Technical Lead, mentoring and guiding junior developers.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a proactive approach to taking ownership of tasks.
• Navigate ambiguity and drive solutions independently in a dynamic environment.
• Work efficiently in a global, distributed team, demonstrating flexibility across time zones.
