RMS Trade Processing
RMS Trade processing is core platform for leading Foreign Exchange business department working with the clients around the globe. RMS platform consists of set of services responsible for trade capturing (800-900K daily average number of transactions), trade lifecycle support, post trade processing of 100+ various trade types for different asset classes such as FX, Commodity securities, Rates. Main clients or the platform are Global Trading desks, Middle office, Operations teams. We are in the middle of transforming our processes to make it easier and cheaper to maintain by implementing new functionality on our strategic global platform. Therefore, we are looking for motivated developers with a passion for agile practices to join our team, working on a business-critical platform built in Java in the backend.
The current technical stack includes Java (8, 11), REST web services, Oracle, GCP. We value working with the business to create a product with long-term value and writing robust, simple and well-tested software.

Your key responsibilities
- Design and develop clean testable code and maintain automated testing coverage
- Collaborate with other software developers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency of Core functionality and APIs, work with Functional Analysts and Business Partners on functional and non-functional requirements
- Coding and automated testing, collaboration with QA engineers on test automation framew
- Investigate and fix production incidents, drive stability and monitoring improvements.
Your skills and experiences
- Many years of working experience and excellent knowledge of Java (8, 11), Linux, SQL (Oracle is a plus).
- Proven track record in high-load distributed system design and fault tolerant applications, algorithms.
- Experience working with agile development practices, with a good knowledge of tools to facilitate agile delivery such as Git, Jenkins, TeamCity.
- Ability to take ownership of a task until its completion and solve complex problems, rather than just coding or testing.
- Technical analysis and system development experience within a financial institution preferred.
- An understanding of trade lifecycle and functions from Front Office to downstream processes, including knowledge of commodities, exotic and/or indices is a bonus.
