Senior Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead our frontend development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern UI technologies, particularly React.js and Next.js, and a proven track record of building high-performance web applications. You will be architecting and implementing scalable frontend solutions. You will also optimize application performance and user experience while establishing frontend development standards and best practices. This job requires an important blend of Front-end development (50%), Performance Optimization (20%), Architecture & Design (20%), Technical Leadership (10%).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, reusable UI components using react js and next js

• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers

• Implement advanced bundling and optimization techniques

• Monitor and improve application performance metrics

• Optimize asset delivery and loading strategies

• Implement efficient state management solutions

• Design and implement scalable frontend architectures

• Make technical decisions regarding frontend tooling and libraries

• Establish coding standards and development workflows

• Collaborate with UX teams to implement design systems

• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance

• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing

• Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning

• Drive innovation in frontend development practices

Required Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in React.js and Next.js

• Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript

• Experience with modern UI component libraries (ShadCN, Ant Design)

• Expertise in frontend build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite)

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks

• Experience with code splitting and lazy loading

• Knowledge of browser rendering and performance optimization

• Expertise in bundle size optimization

• Understanding of modern caching strategies

• Expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines- we use Github actions

• Knowledge of automated testing practices

• Experience with agile development methodologies

• Strong understanding of responsive design principles

• Experience implementing complex UI animations

• Some Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)

• Eye for detail in visual implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field

• 5+ years of frontend development experience

• 3+ years of React.js experience

• Experience with server-side rendering and static site generation

• Strong communication and leadership skills

Additional Skills

• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX)

• Knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs

• Understanding of micro-frontend architectures

• Experience with WebSocket implementations

• Familiarity with docker/containerization and deployment strategies
