At Backbase, we don’t just deliver software – we redefine how people around the world manage their finances. We are building a new team in Kraków and are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer for our Digital Engage and Customer Lifetime Orchestrator (CLO) domains.
What you'll do
You will design systems that are true game-changers:
Digital Engage: An intelligent campaign management platform (Push, WhatsApp, Email) featuring advanced segmentation.
CLO & AI Transformation: We leverage LLMs (OpenAI) and ML models for real-time offer personalization and content/image generation.
Conversational Banking & PFM Coach: We are building LLM-based voice assistants and chats that help customers plan financial goals and manage their accounts.
Global Scale: Over 100 financial institutions worldwide (USA, Europe, Asia, Africa). Your architectural decisions will impact millions of users.
Who you are
You have 5+ years of relevant working experience working on complex products;
- You have excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written;
You have a solid background in software development including design;
- You are able to communicate clearly and confidently across all levels to get buy-ins from technical stakeholders as well as from your team members;
- You have strong Angular and Typescript skills;
- You have worked with RxJS and understand design patterns;
- Experience in Vue.js will be considered an advantage;
- You commonly use Gulp, Grunt and/or Webpack in your projects;
- Having hands-on experience with build systems like Jenkins is a plus;
- You have experience with non-functionals such as security, performance, scalability etc.;
- You have a solid understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
