The Job in short
As part of the team, you will contribute to new and existing functionalities, proof of concepts, and technical improvements that will be implemented in the Digital Banking Platform. Your autonomous team is responsible for the entire software development life cycle for the digital banking product suite: from idea to release. You are expected to take ownership of what you build and proactively collaborate with architects, QA engineers and other team members to ensure implementation is done according to our technical vision and best practices.
Meet the job
As a Frontend Developer, you’ll use Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript ES6 to create the best omnichannel user experiences. You will also have the opportunity to craft angular projects using our own Backbase Design System based on Bootstrap.
We love clean, testable, and maintainable code that is cross-browser compatible. You are part of a multidisciplinary team being end-to-end responsible for delivery, from concept to production-ready software. We offer a hybrid working model which is a location-flexible arrangement that allows people to combine on-site and off-site work.
How about you
Strong skills, you have:
- 5+ years of relevant working experience working on complex products;
- solid background in software development including design and testing;
- strong Angular and Typescript skills;
- worked with RxJS and understand design patterns;
- experience with Nx monorepo tools is a great asset;
- experience with non-functionals such as security, performance, scalability, accessibility, internationalization etc.;Additionally highly valuable will be:
- commonly using Webpack in your projects;
- having experience with Node and npm, and the Angular CLI would be an advantage too in building toolchains;
- having hands-on experience with build systems like GitHub Actions or Azure pipelines;
- familiarity with E2E testing using Playwright or Cypress
- Understanding of a tech full stack is an advantage;
- have a solid understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns
As a senior developer you:
- are a great communicator, and can clearly and confidently communicate with your team members as well as stakeholders
- are a highly motivated person who wants to lead the team and drive technical implementation of new features or technical improvements
- have the drive, leadership skills and the focus on achieving goals
- want to learn, grow and develop your skills in new areas
- are a great mentor for other developers, guiding less experienced team member to improve technical skills and good programming practices
- have excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written
- already based in Kraków and ready to come to the office twice per week
