We are looking for a Front-End Engineer to join our team in Ljubljana, Slovenia who will be focused on building and upgrading advanced user interfaces made with React JavaScript library while integrating partner APIs into GraphQL middleware.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend applications using modern frameworks (e.g., React, AgGrid).
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, performance optimization, and code quality across the team.
- Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate business requirements into functional, responsive UI components.
- Mentor junior developers by providing guidance on coding standards, problem-solving, and best practices through pair programming and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Help drive frontend architecture decisions, including state management, performance improvements, and maintainability strategies.
- Research and integrate new frontend technologies, libraries, and methodologies to continually improve development processes and user experience.
- Ensure comprehensive testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and documentation of code, maintaining high test coverage and clarity for future maintenance.
- Identify and address technical debt, optimizing code for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
What You Need For This Role
- Advanced knowledge of frontend web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) are important.
- Proven hands-on experience in ReactJS development.
- Experience with REST service integration, using GraphQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with browser testing, debugging and various testing tools.
- Proficiency in writing unit tests and versioning of program code, a sense of user experience is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar work.
- English proficiency is a must.
