Senior Frontend Engineer (React Native) - Splint Invest team

We at Holycode are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (React Native) to join our long-term partner, Splint Invest.

This is a hands-on senior role with real ownership and influence over product quality, architecture, and frontend best practices.

• Develop and continuously improve features that enhance the investing experience for our growing customer base in our mobile application and website together with the team.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers and Product Management to deliver customer-focused solutions.

• Take ownership of the technical aspects within your area of responsibility, including monitoring the mobile application and website to ensure stable and reliable operations.

• Contribute to the design and implementation definition of new initiatives during refinements (technical input, breaking down work, estimation).

• Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, and risk analysis.

• Support the team by promoting unified development standards and best practices.

• Stay up to date with frontend trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science is preferred; candidates with demonstrated passion, strong skills, and substantial hands-on experience in mobile development are equally encouraged to apply.

• 5+ years of experience in frontend software development.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing cross-platform mobile applications with React Native.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, modern styling approaches (e.g. TailwindCSS, CSS Modules), and frameworks such as React and Next.js.

• High standards for code quality, including experience in automated testing with at least one of the following frameworks: Maestro, React Testing Library, Jest, Cypress.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and the ability to adjust and maintain them (we use GitLab and CodeMagic).

• Proven ability to use AI tools as a daily coding companion for implementation, refactoring, debugging, testing, and routine development tasks.

• A holistic mindset with a focus on sustainable, scalable solutions, combined with a pragmatic mentality.

• Strong analytical skills and an independent working style with a strong focus on delivery.

• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

• Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience developing native iOS and/or Android applications.

• Experience with SEO for web applications using React and Next.js.

• Exposure to FinTech or other results-driven environments where trust, quality, and accountability are at the core.

• Experience integrating with third-party services such as payment providers, EMI providers, or KYC providers.

First week – Orientation & first impact
You get fully set up, learn our business, product, and ways of working. You explore the React Native codebase and create your first pull request with a small improvement or bug fix.

First two weeks – Ownership & technical influence
You actively contribute to sprint refinement and technical design discussions, help shape upcoming user stories, and independently deliver small application improvements end-to-end.

First month – Autonomy & leadership
You own and ship a new mobile feature to the App Store and Google Play. You collaborate closely with Product and QA and start influencing code quality, architecture, and team practices.
