Senior Frontend Engineer - Pindrop

This role focuses on developing responsive and high-performance user interfaces using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. The candidate will work on integrating frontend applications with backend services, implementing secure authentication workflows (including Pindrop), and ensuring seamless user experience across platforms. The role also involves working with AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools, while contributing to full-stack development when needed. The ideal candidate will combine strong UI/UX expertise with cloud and integration experience to build scalable, secure, and efficient web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, interactive user interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Integrate and support Pindrop authentication, fraud detection, and voice security functions in frontend
• workflows.
• Translate design wireframes and mockups into high-quality code.
• Implement UI/UX best practices to deliver user-friendly web applications.
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, efficient, testable code following best practices for performance, maintainability, and
• security.
• Design and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS,
• DynamoDB, API Gateway, and IAM.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and observability using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Splunk logging.
• Collaborate on infrastructure automation using CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Integrate solutions with AWS services like Lambda.
• Use of AI-assisted coding in development workflows.
• Assist backend teams with full-stack integration and debugging.
• Contribute to backend development (Python/Node.js) when needed for end-to-end functionality.

• 7-10 years of experience in frontend development.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud-based application engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, including frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Hands-on experience with Pindrop integrations, including API/SDK usage and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of telephony concepts and SIP trunking.
• Experience with AWS SDKs, reporting, analytics, and troubleshooting.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and UI/UX principles.
• Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB,
• CloudFront, VPC, CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Amazon Connect integrations, including API usage, contact flow design, routing,
• queues, and call-flow troubleshooting.
• Experience or knowledge of using AI and LLM models.
• Basic proficiency in backend development (Python, Node.js, Java, or C#).
• AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate).
• Experience with event-driven architectures (SNS, SQS, EventBridge)
