The Mission
We are looking for a (Senior) Front-End Software Developer to join the ING Private Cloud tribe. In this role, you will work on the ING Private Cloud Portal, building and enhancing web applications that empower our internal users. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in TypeScript, Angular, REST APIs, and modern front-end architecture. You will be responsible for developing high-quality, maintainable code and collaborating closely with other development teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs. This position is perfect for an experienced front-end developer seeking a challenging and impactful opportunity.
Your day to day
Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the front-ends of our software applications using Typescript, Angular and (REST) API's;
- Collaborate with designers in order to deliver a great user experience in our portal;
- Collaborate with the back-end development teams to ensure that code is of high quality, maintainable and meets business needs;
- Debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise;
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that all code meets standards.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
- 4+ years of experience in software development;
- Knows the ins- and outs of single page applications;
- Strong knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, jQuery, HTML and CSS;
- Experience with front-end development frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue.js);
- Knows what a headless frond-end is and is familiar with REST or GraphQL API;
- Proficiency with Git and version control systems;
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
