ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and maintain features in a large, modern Angular application, with opportunities to contribute to backend work.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and maintain features in a large modern Angular application.
- Contribute to frontend architecture and technical decisions.
- Work with UX and product teams to turn requirements into well-designed, accessible features.
- Contribute to build, bundling, and frontend development workflows.
- Follow accessibility best practices and participate in accessibility reviews.
- Contribute to backend work when needed, working with the existing engineering team.
- Participate in code reviews and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Work with AI development tools, primarily Claude.
- Collaborate with engineers across multiple product initiatives.
MUST HAVES
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong Angular experience, specifically modern Angular rather than AngularJS.
- Strong frontend engineering skills and experience working on production web applications.
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture and maintainable code.
- Basic, practical understanding of web accessibility.
- Experience working effectively in a collaborative engineering team.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to work with significant overlap with US time zones.
NICE TO HAVES
- Strong hands-on accessibility experience, including accessibility testing and remediation.
- Experience with Angular Material or similar UI component libraries.
- Experience with frontend build, bundling, or related tooling.
- Experience with PHP/Laravel or Python.
- Experience working with GCP.
- Experience with AI-native / agentic software development workflows.
- SaaS or EdTech experience.
