We are seeking a Senior Front-end Engineer to join our Engagement and Growth team in Berlin. This role centers on Front-end development, using modern technologies to build features that drive user engagement and product growth. You’ll play a key part in shaping our product, optimising user experience, and supporting the team’s growth, with autonomy to influence both development strategies and feature design.
Your Tasks:
● Mentor and Develop Team Members: Guide and support less experienced engineers, sharing knowledge and encouraging best practices in frontend development.
● Define Requirements and Standards: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set product and technical requirements, establish development standards (e.g., code quality), and set up efficient CI/CD processes.
● Lead Frontend Development: Drive technology selection, architecture design, and implementation of key features to boost user engagement and product growth.
● Contribute to Engagement Strategies: Actively propose and implement A/B testing strategies and performance optimizations to enhance user experience and engagement.
● Support Team Collaboration: Moderate team sessions and provide technical feedback to help team members grow and overcome frontend challenges.
Your Profile:
● 5+ Years of Software Engineering Experience: Strong expertise in frontend development with a focus on engaging, user-centered design.
● Frontend Tech Stack Mastery: Proficient in TypeScript, Angular, and modern frontend architectures. Experience with A/B testing and performance optimization for user engagement.
● Mentorship Experience: Proven ability to coach and mentor other engineers, promoting knowledge-sharing and best practices.
● SCM and CI/CD Knowledge: Skilled with tools like Git, Docker, and CI pipelines for development efficiency.
● Agile Experience: Familiar with Scrum or Kanban frameworks, using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
● Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective communicator in English, with strong relationship-building abilities.
● Autonomous and Growth-Focused: You work independently with autonomy and are keen to grow into managerial or architectural roles.
