Join our Customer Experience team as a Senior Frontend Engineer (Web). The team takes responsibility for onsite experience with inspirational and entertaining content. Our mission is to develop innovative products that amplify our customers' content experiences. This role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team of mobile & web engineers and shape the next chapter in Zalando customer experience.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

You will be part of an agile cross functional team that builds solutions for Zalando’s Fashion Store web and mobile applications (Android and iOS).

Together with the team you will build solutions for customers to socially engage with others: share fashion discoveries and get inspired by others.

Communicate with various stakeholders to understand the business context, and translate the requirements into technical designs

Act like an owner by taking up a challenge, work towards reducing ambiguity, and break the work down into manageable tasks.

Lean on your iOS experience and skill set, develop robust, performant and maintainable code.

Share and develop your expertise with your team to deliver the best user experience to our customers
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

You are proficient in developing applications in Typescript, Javascript and Node.js.

You have experience with React & GraphQL

You are not only experienced with integrating APIs but have a deep understanding of REST architectural styles.

You consistently demonstrate an entrepreneurial, analytical, and customer-centric approach, and you have an insatiable desire to improve the experience for our customers.

You have experience in all parts of the software development life cycle: building, testing, deploying, and operating in production.

You have hands-on experience in improving front-end performance and observability and worked with front-end monitoring/logging tools like Sentry. You have an affinity for the reliability, monitoring, scalability, and performance of the app.

You communicate effectively in English and are comfortable collaborating with different product, design, and engineering teams.
