We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer (Angular) to join a core application development team and contribute to the development of modern, functional, and user-friendly web applications.
In this role, you will work primarily with Angular and TypeScript, collaborating closely with Backend Engineers, Functional Analysts, and QA professionals to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-quality user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain frontend applications using recent versions of Angular
- Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces based on defined UX and design standards
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs
- Manage application state and frontend data flows
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable frontend code
- Participate in code reviews and apply frontend development best practices
- Collaborate closely with Backend Engineers on application integrations
- Work with Functional Analysts and Testers to ensure correct screen behaviour and functionality
- Identify and resolve frontend issues and continuously improve application quality
- Ensure a high-quality and consistent end-user experience
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience with Angular
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS
- Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs
- Experience with application state management
- Good understanding of responsive design principles
- Understanding of basic web accessibility principles
- Experience applying frontend development best practices and participating in code reviews
- Strong focus on application quality and user experience
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Previous experience in a banking or fintech environment
- Have strong hands-on expertise in modern Angular development
- Care about clean, maintainable, and reusable frontend code
- Have a strong eye for usability and the overall user experience
- Enjoy translating requirements and designs into functional web interfaces
- Work effectively with Backend, QA, and Functional Analysis teams
- Pay attention to detail, responsiveness, accessibility, and application quality
