Your Job:
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Doctolib Siilo in our Amsterdam office, you’ll help us drive our web application forward, building and maintaining high quality care cooperation features within the Doctolib suite for healthcare professionals.
Your technical input is highly valued during feature design sessions with the Product Manager and UX Design team, both to improve and simplify the final ideas. You'll be involved in the technical design of new features, and help implement these together with the team.
We value certain aspects of Scrum, such as the morning stand-up and retrospective, but at the same time strive to maintain a pragmatic approach, minimising meetings and prioritising developer happiness to the fullest.
You will be responsible for:
- Building, owning and maintaining the care cooperation features in the Doctolib stack using React and Typescript, with some occasional maintenance of Doctolib Siilo’s web chat companion written in Angular.
- Collaborating with your peers working on Android, iOS, web and Java backend building a highly scalable product and an awesome experience for our 900,000+ users and contributing directly to growing Doctolib Siilo's network of healthcare professionals.
- Working quality-first, test-driven and keeping security and privacy front and center to everything you do.
- Owning the tech and deploying code every day.
- The full development life cycle, including communicating with stakeholders (for instance product, design, QA) throughout the development process, as well as debugging production issues.
What We’re Looking For From You:
- 5+ years of experience developing web applications.
- Experience with complex frontend codebases, preferably in React and Typescript.
- You are familiar with automated testing and maintaining CI pipelines.
- You enjoy figuring out why things work, not just that they work.
- You’re fluent in English.
- Experience with skills such as automation testing and CI are preferred.
