As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll have the opportunity to build products, platforms, and features that empower schools and school leaders to highlight their strengths and give the best opportunities to their students.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with a SCRUM team, including front-end engineers, Ruby on Rails engineers, and Product Owners
  • Contribute to the architecture of the front-end stack, ensuring high standards for code quality, performance, security and maintainability
  • Design and implement efficient, reusable and scalable front-end components using Vue.js
  • Mentor and guide other members of the team through code reviews, technical guidance and best practices
  • Evaluate designs, suggest UI/UX improvements, and enhance the overall user experience
  • Create clear, comprehensive documentation in collaboration with Product teams
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering leadership, including the CTO and VPs

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred; alternatively, 6+ years of experience building successful products and platforms on an engineering team without a technical degree
  • A strong academic and professional track record of achievements
  • 6–7+ years of experience with JavaScript and ES6+
  • Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular
  • Experience with raw CSS and CSS frameworks
  • Hands-on experience writing tests to ensure code quality and reliability
  • Proven experience working collaboratively on an engineering team
