We at RELEX are looking for a talented Frontend Developer to help us develop and maintain our inner source Design System called Fragments. If you're passionate about clean code, scalable UI components, and enhancing user experience, this role is for you! Together, we'll build flexible and accessible components, improve design & developer experience and ensure that other teams can efficiently create consistent and high-quality interfaces.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain a scalable Design System used across multiple UI solutions.
- Build high-quality, reusable UI components with TypeScript, React, Storybook, and Jest.
- Ensure consistency, accessibility, and performance across all frontend applications.
- Collaborate closely with Fragments’ Designer and Frontend Engineers, and Product teams (Designers, Frontend Engineers, Test Engineers and Product Owners) to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Help to translate design decisions into flexible, well-documented components.
- Drive best practices in component architecture, accessibility, and frontend performance.
- Participate in decision-making processes, quickly evaluating trade-offs and finding effective solutions.
- Continuously improve tooling, documentation, and best practices for the design system.
We’re looking for:
- Strong experience in frontend development with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Storybook, and RTI/Jest.
- Keyboard navigation is a must-have knowledge.
- Previous experience of working with complex components as Table is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to conduct workshops, presentations, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- A passion for design systems, component-driven development.
- Previous experience with a design system is an advantage.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and effectively communicating technical decisions to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Figma is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React, proven experience in building and maintaining component libraries, and proficiency in leveraging tools and best practices to deliver high-quality code and seamless user interfaces.
