We're looking for:
- A Lead Front-End Engineer with experience in Fintech or marketplaces who will shape the direction of our front-end practice while being at the forefront of our mission to bring better finance solutions to millions of businesses in the United States. You will not only be building user experiences yourself but also mentoring, guiding, and scaling a team of engineers to deliver on an ambitious roadmap of innovative banking and SaaS products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the front-end engineering team and owning the vision for user-facing products
- Building user-friendly interfaces using Vue.js on the Quasar.js framework, with willingness to transition and ramp up if currently experienced in React
- Setting front-end architectural standards and ensuring scalability, security, and performance
- Driving collaboration across engineering, design, and product teams to create seamless customer experiences
- Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and ownership
- Working closely with leadership to align technical decisions with business goals
You have:
- Fluency in English
- Able to have flexible working hours to collaborate with our NY office
- Deep understanding of Fintech, specifically banking payments
- Deep experience with and understanding of:
- JavaScript (5+ years)
- Node.js (5+ years)
- React or Vue.js framework (4+ years)
- APIs (5+ years)
- Building fintech web applications (1+ years)
- Front-end architecture (2+ years)
- UX (2+ years)
- UI (2+ years)
